Truescope Raises $6.2 Million In Seed Capital To Accelerate Growth

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Australian media intelligence start up, Truescope, has raised $6.2 million in funding to support the company’s international expansion plans.

Truescope has secured investments from leading venture capital firms, Investible and Jelix Ventures, as well as other private investors. The funds will be used to launch and support Truescope’s USA market entry and accelerate the many engineering and technology innovations in the SaaS platform’s pipeline.

Truescope was founded by industry experts John Croll and Michael Bade. “The Truescope platform was built after we recognised an opportunity to help brands take better advantage of communications technology. We are hiring a fantastic team in the US with a wealth of industry experience, and this factor, coupled with the smartest media intelligence platform in the market, means we’re excited to make a difference to the communications industry, said Croll.

“Now to have this support from the calibre of investors that we do, we know that our strategy stacks up and we’re on track to being one of the leading media intelligence SaaS platforms globally” he said.

Truescope has more than 250 corporate and government clients across Singapore and New Zealand and will maintain focus on growing these markets while employing an expert commercial team in the US, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Daniel Veytsblit, investment director at Investible, said the Truescope technology and leadership team was its competitive advantage. “With John and Michael’s vision, deeply relevant industry expertise, and innovative product spanning multiple media channels, we recognise the huge potential to support Truescope in its continued global expansion” he noted.

Andrea Gardiner, founder and CEO of Jelix Ventures added, “The Truescope business is unlike any business in the media intelligence space. We are delighted to be partnering with John and Michael and we look forward to following their success in their mission to better inform communications around the world.”

Truescope is now operational in Asia, New Zealand, and the United States, with the development team based in Australia.
