Meet the team
Shelley Hammond
‘SHELL’
One Roof Agency Founder and Managing Director, Shelley has a 20 year career on both sides of the comms fence, having led agencies in both Melbourne and Sydney, and spent almost a decade with Australia’s number one telecommunication company and most trusted brand, Telstra, and Asia Pacific’s leading media intelligence company, Isentia.
PR is where it all started but today, Shelley is passionate about the entire communications mix and developing creative integrated solutions for businesses.
Shell was born and bred on a sheep farm in North Eastern Victoria and while now based in Sydney and the Gold Coast, a trip south to spend time with her family, grab some country air and enjoy the local King Valley wines is usually always on the cards.
She is an advocate for measuring communication effectiveness and is a member of the global industry body AMEC (Association of Measurement and Effectiveness of Communication). She is also a selected judge in the international AMEC Excellence Awards in London in 2016, Prague in 2019 and Vienna (virtually) in 2020.
Shelley has a Bachelor of Arts Public Relations and majors in marketing and journalism from Deakin University.

Kerrie Holien
‘KEZ’
Is the Operations Director at One Roof Agency – i.e the super star who keeps the wheels turning and everything under our roof running at peak performance.
With a career as expansive as it is long, Kez started in hospitality before adventuring across to the corporate world. She has a background in business administration and operations having worked for Target Australia HQ for more than a decade.
Kez not only balances the books and has a handle on all-things logistics at #ORA, but lends her hand to content, editing, social media, and PR.
She’s the epitome of diligence, mostly with a laugh and always with a coffee. A Geelong girl through and through, Kez is all about family and friends. Every office needs a Kezzie!

Lauren Cottrill
‘LOZ’
Hailing from South West Victoria, Loz is a country girl, through and through.
Flying the coop just after high school, Lauren landed in Melbourne, and after dabbling in Graphic Arts and a stint in PR, she found her feet in Marketing – the perfect mix where strategy meets creativity.
With over 15 years’ experience, Lauren has held various roles in trade, retail, NFP and education settings, including coordinating the marketing for the Victorian Eastern Region of Clipsal by Schneider Electric, along with a number of sub-regional and neighbourhood Shopping Centres.
As Communications Consultant at One Roof Agency, Loz works her knowledge across all aspects of communications, with a keen eye for social and digital, content creation and PR.
Recently, she returned to the country with a young family in tow with the aim to slow down a little and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. However, throw in some land, sheep, and chooks… and well… is there such a thing as relaxed chaos?
Lauren holds a Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing along with tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, PR and graphic arts.
